KOKOMO, IN – An alleged impaired driver fatally struck another vehicle near N Washington St and W Elm St Sunday, according to CBS 4.
Travis Sexton, 22, was driving a Chevy Uplander east on Elm St when he ran a stop sign at the intersection with Washing St and collided with a Chevy Suburban driven by a 28-year-old woman around 8:50 p.m.
The collision ejected Kaysie Nickole Talley, 24, from the Suburban. Rescue crews pronounced her dead at the scene.
Emergency responders transported the suburban driver to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Police believe Sexton was impaired. His blood alcohol content was .142. Authorities also believe Sexton was using narcotics as well.
