CLINTON COUNTY, IN – According to WRTV, a semi-truck driver died following a multi-vehicle collision on northbound I-65 near Lebanon Wednesday.
A 2016 Freightliner was heading south on I-65 when they crossed through the median into the northbound lanes of traffic and hit a 2022 Freightliner driven by Karl Carter, 54, and a Mazda 6 driven by Sean Samuels, 50.
Following the collision, both semi-trucks caught on fire.
Rescue crews pronounced Carter dead at the scene and transported the 2016 Freightliner driver to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Samuels was not hurt in the incident.
